Living in israel for the last 5000 years... Born in jerusalem, grow up and educated in a kibutz.
Kibutz is a very special way of life that exist only in israel. We have about 300 kibutzim in the country.
The members Of a kibutz living a collective life, they share everything and are not interesting in the
Material life but the ideology – to live in the holy land and to work on agriculture. Apparently the kibutz is
the place, or the origin in which i got the love for people, Childeren, animals and nature.
In israel you have to join the army once you reach the age of 18. like everybody i was young, healthy and full of
energy and three years in the army turn me to be better in any espect of life. I served in infantry and that's mean
lots of walking. We walk for months about 30 km per day apart from the regular routine exercises and indeed we Were
in excellent shape. I participated in the six days war, yom kippor war and lebanon war.
After the army i became a programmer, system analyst and the last job as a computer Department manager. Since i
speak english and german and like to travel i become a Tour guide. The "virus" of travels is in the blood.
In the begining you hike by foot What we call "bus no. 11" (because of both legs) later on i moved to jeeps. In
addition To my personal knowledge i am also authorized as expert in desert tours.
In the begining i had a brilliant idea. I turned to high educated people like lecturers in jerusalem university
all of them from the first row, everybody an expert in his field and offered them a proposal they can not
refuse – to travel with me with my jeep free of charge and inreturn i will be able to hear from them what ever they
say – and indeed i learned a lot from them from the first source. So behind the formal education i deepen my knowledge
in many fields which helps me a lot since a tour guide is dealing with people who have variety of interest fields.
